App-bikes
There are dedicated App-bike hire schemes in Biggleswade and Houghton Regis.
The self-service bike hire system allows residents to hire bikes for leisure or commuting at any time convenient to them. There are designated points across the two towns, with bike hire starting and ending at any of these locations.
To use the bikes, residents will need to register on the app and provide proof of address for verification. There are two tariffs to choose from:
Pay as you go: no monthly fee, £1.50 per hour.
Monthly membership: £5 per month, 2 hours free hire each day, then £1.00 per hour thereafter.
